About LightFrame Studios
Discover the story behind London's premier photo studio rentals. Learn about our history, mission, and the talented team that makes it all possible.
Our History
LightFrame Studios began in 2010 with a simple vision: to provide London's creative community with exceptional studio spaces and unparalleled customer service. Founded by renowned photographer, Alistair Finch, LightFrame Studios started as a single loft studio in Shoreditch, catering primarily to fashion and portrait photographers. Alistair, having experienced the frustrations of poorly equipped and inadequately managed studios throughout his career, sought to create a haven for creatives – a place where they could focus solely on their craft without logistical headaches.
Over the years, LightFrame Studios has expanded to encompass a diverse range of studio spaces, each meticulously designed to meet the evolving needs of our clientele. From minimalist white-box studios ideal for product photography to fully equipped green screen facilities for video production, we've strived to offer versatility and innovation. We opened our second studio location in Canary Wharf in 2015, focusing on catering to corporate clients and businesses requiring professional headshots and product photography. This expansion proved pivotal, allowing us to diversify our services and reach a wider audience.
In 2018, LightFrame Studios underwent a significant renovation, incorporating cutting-edge lighting technology and soundproofing to enhance the quality of our studios. We also introduced a range of additional services, including equipment rental, on-site technical support, and catering options, solidifying our position as a one-stop shop for all photographic and video production needs. Our commitment to continuous improvement and customer satisfaction has earned us a reputation as the go-to studio rental provider in London.
Today, LightFrame Studios proudly serves a diverse clientele ranging from independent artists to global brands. We remain committed to our founding principles of providing exceptional studio spaces, top-notch equipment, and outstanding customer service. As we look to the future, we are excited to continue supporting the creative community in London and beyond.
